Why are we putting a Bible verse on all our pages?
We at VerseADay believe that the Bible is God's Inspired Word. In it God tells us what He wants us to know about Himself. The Bible tells us that God sent His Son (Jesus Christ) into this world to save it (1 John 4v14). Jesus left the glories of Heaven and became man. The Bible tells us how Jesus Christ allowed Himself to be put upon a cross at Calvary so that He might die for our sins. All God has asked us to do is to believe in Him, to trust in Christ for our Salvation (Acts 16v31). Whatever else we may do in our lives the most important decision we can take is to trust in Jesus Christ as our Saviour.
Having accepted Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we want to tell others what God has done for us, and what He can do for them. SO we are putting a verse from the Bible on each of our pages. Not all of these verses will be specifically about how Jesus Christ has died to save you from your sins. Some of them will be to encourage Christians, those who have accepted Christ as their Saviour. Others are warnings of how we should and shouldn't behave.
